Getting here
Where possible, please use public transport. Free “Swiss Cheese Awards” shuttle buses will take you from Fribourg Central Station to the Burgquartier. Alternatively, you can take Line 1 towards “Portes-de-Fribourg / Marly-Gérine”.
If travelling by car, please use the city’s public car parks. There are no parking facilities at the event venue in the Burgquartier.
You can also arrange a car share via Frimobility.
Children’s safety
Wristbands for children are available at the Information Point (Rue des Épouses 8 · 1700 Fribourg) and at the Swiss Cheese information stand on the Place de Notre-Dame. You can write the telephone numbers of parents or accompanying adults on these. Should you lose sight of each other, the official meeting point for separated families is at the MEMO book and play corner on Place des Ormeaux.
Toilets
There is a sufficient number of toilets available around the event venue:
- L'Atelier/Place de Notre-Dame
- Place des Ormeaux (with a nappy-changing table, accessible to people with reduced mobility)
- Place Sainte-Catherine
- Ruelle Pierre-Moehr 2a
There are also public toilets and so-called ‘nice toilets’ available throughout the city of Fribourg.
